Seven of the regions best growers contributed their best fruit from old vine vineyards to create this unique and complex Zinfandel blend. Soft and supple on the palate with intense aromas of blackberry, cherry, pepper, and licorice. The finish is clean and long lasting with hints of vanilla and cocoa.
The Phillips' family have owned and operated farmlands in the Lodi region since the 1860s. Today, Michael and David Phillips represent the fifth generation of growers with 350 acres of premium vineyards. Though not certified organic, Michael~David Vineyards strives to use all natural methods including integrated pest management, beneficial insects for pest control, trellising, leaf pulling and natural mined sulfur for mildew control.
