The aromas are Classic Pinot Noir, bright cherry and sweet spice notes. It's supple on the palate with cherries, raspberries, cedar and spice from 18 months in barrel. Tannins are soft with no bitterness on the finish.

Santa Digna Sauvignon Blanc Reserva, Miguel Torres 2009

A fresh, pale gold colour, with a blend of aromas reminiscent of ripe, tropical fruits, over underlying hints of apple and fennel. Silky on the palate with a good acid structure and prolonged finish.

Red ruby with violet, highlights. Red fruit on the nose, pleasant and persistent. Full-bodied on the palate, deep, round and harmonious, it lingers with a hint of licorice at the end.

We believe that the resulting wine is a wonderful example of what our corners of the world can do with this touchstone grape variety.

'Old Vines' Pinot Noir, Estate Bottled VQA, Château Des Charmes 2007

Produced in small lots from 100% estate-grown Pinot Noir grapes, this fine wine is vinified according to traditional Burgundian methods including aging in small Allier oak barrels. Ruby in colour, velvety smooth in the mouth with a complex and lingering cherry flavour.

This Pinot Noir is finely matched with game, meats, rich pastas or strong cheeses.

Merlot, Henry Of Pelham 2006

A hot summer, and prolonged, warm fall ripening with reduced vineyard yields, allowed fruit to develop rich, full flavours and displaying this ripeness as nuances of black cherry, anise, Mediterranean herbs (rosemary, lavender, thyme) and currant. Exuberant and very ripe fruit, currant aromas are complimented by a dense texture on the plush palate bringing a long spicy finish.

Roasted red meats with simple sauces and young, firm textured cheeses.

Finely tuned aromas of blackcurrent, blueberry and mocha with cedar and pepper highlights. On the palate, it's medium-bodied with velvety tannins, good structure, and a nice fruit / acid balance. Finishes smooth with long lingering blackcurrent and wood notes. Very drinkable and priced just right.

Finishes with very good clarity and mineral snap, with the black raspberry note repeating. Year in and out this is a superb value."
