Named after Aneto, a peak that rises to a dizzying altitude of 3,404 metres, soaring over the relatively young Somontano appellation. Dark granate colour, fresh on the nose with intense aromas of red fruit (strawberry and raspberry) with hints of spice. Serve this red with tomato-based pasta, pizza, barbeques and gratinated dishes. The price might be in the foothills but the quality is right at the very summit.
