"The 2023 Pinot Noir Jardin Eden was made from a single plot in Grand Cru Mambourg. This was planted in 2015 to a massal selection, cut in Alsace's oldest Pinot Noir plot in Heiligenstein dating back 80 years. The ferment contained 50% whole bunches, raised in one 600-liter barrel. It's darker but translucent in hue and beautifully aromatic with ripe, wild, red cherry notes. The palate shows the beauty of that fruit, with silky tannins and the smooth weave of its structure. This has subtle density, immense freshness, a beautiful lift and exquisite purity. It is so sinuous and exquisite."
