"The 2023 Antidoto is made entirely from Tempranillo, vines grown over 332 plots at high altitude in different villages across Soria, 30 to 80 years old. After a short maceration of five days, fermentation takes place in stainless steel before the wine is aged five months in 600-liter French oak barrels, 25% new. The wine begs for tapas, so lovely is its supple texture and crisp red and black cherry fruit. Made in a modern style, it’s not about power as much as place, showcasing the ability to make great wine from great vineyards and grapes. It retains remarkable freshness throughout a medium-bodied core of finesse. Drink now and for the next 10 years."
