"This is the first vintage of this wine. Composed of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Stagecoach vineyard on Pritchard Hill aged 20 months in 75% new French oak, the very deep purple-black colored 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Pritchard Hill reveals exuberant crème de cassis, blueberry preserves and Black Forest cake scents with hints of eucalypt and star anise plus a waft of cedar chest. Full, rich and seductive, it fills the palate with powerful black fruit, framed by super ripe, grainy tannins and a long minted finish. 84 cases produced, to be released in October 2019."
