Loredan Gasparini is situated in Venegazzù di Volpago del Montello, an area historically known for producing exceptional wines. Nestled on the picturesque hills of the Riviera del Montello in Treviso, the estate spans 60 hectares of vineyards. Established in the 1950s by Count Piero Loredan, and under the ownership of Giancarlo Ball since 1973, the vineyards still boast Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Malbec – crucial varietals for crafting high-quality wines, including the renowned and almost mythical ‘Head of State.’
The vineyards are planted in the region's primary geological foundation, composed of debris from the Piave River, enriched with conglomerates of limy pebbles, porphyry, granite, and clay. This is the birthplace of the winery, where the majestic 18th-century Palladian villa Spineda, designed by architect F. M. Preti, stands proudly in front of the winery, surrounded by vines and red berries.
Furthermore, within the Giavera Estate, twenty-three hectares are specifically dedicated to Prosecco Superiore of the DOCG Asolo.
