The winery is owned by Karen Roos and her husband Koos Bekker. Babylonstoren Winery is situated in the Drakenstein Valley, close to the town of Paarl. The location is known for its fertile soil and temperate climate.

The Babylonstoren winemaker is Charl Coetzee who has been with the winery since 2010. Charl has a deep understanding of the terroir and is committed to using sustainable and organic farming practices.

The winery produces a range of wines, including Chenin Blanc, Viognier, Chardonnay, Shiraz, and Cabernet Sauvignon. In addition to producing exceptional wines, Babylonstoren Winery is committed to sustainability and has implemented a range of initiatives to reduce its environmental impact, including solar panels, a water recycling plant, and a composting system.
