Tasting Notes
"(aged for 16 months in French oak, followed by 18 months in bottle before release): Saturated ruby. A heady, mineral-laced bouquet evokes dark berry preserves, Indian spices, licorice and floral oils. Stains the palate with vibrant black raspberry and cherry-cola flavors underscored by a smoky mineral nuance. Plays power off of liveliness smoothly and finishes with strong thrust and slow-building tannins."
