Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, Italy–the world’s most delicious, luxurious, and rare vinegar.
Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP: a vinegar so precious it was, and still is, given as gifts to popes and kings and queens; so rare, it is drizzled, not poured; and so delicious, it is used to enhance everything from ice cream to fresh fruits to filet mignon.
The Paltrinieri family has been producing outstanding quality balsamic vinegars on their family estate since 1845. This gold class artisnal balsamic vinegar is made from hand harvested Lambrusco of Sorbara grapes and then long aged in small batch oak barrels for 7 years. For over 100 years, Pasquale Brothers has been the premier source for high quality imported foods in the Toronto area. Our specialties include olives, olive oil, vinegar, tomatoes, pasta, sauces, spices and charcuterie.
The history of Acetaia Paltrinieri is rooted at the beginning of 1800, when the villa that still hosts it was built. The first barrels and batches of the Balsamic Vinegar, forerunners of a long family tradition and the Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, also date back to that period.
It's important to remember that taste is subjective, and personal preferences play a significant role.
