Tasting Notes
Ruby red color in its youth; it assumes garnet red nuances that become orange soft reflexes by aging. Full and pleasant, fragrant with fruity reminiscent of raspberries and jam. With time acquires interesting spice notes. Round, elegant tannins, balance of red fruit, plum, blackberries, tobacco and spice notes. Harmonic with long and persistent finish.

Since 1897 this family-run winery has produced legendary wines from their Cannubi vineyard. If Italy were to employ the same vineyard classification system as Burgundy, there is no arguing that Cannubi would be amongst the Grand Crus. Frankly, there is little argument that it would be the King amongst even that elite company of celebrated and famous vineyards. Today, the 5th generation (Emanuela and Federica) in this family wine company continue to make beautiful and authentic wines from their stellar vineyards throughout Langhe.
