Made exclusively from vines grown on the Barrua Estate, from an exciting blend of 85% Carignano, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot, this wine has lovely complexity and depth. The aromas are deep and rounded with exotic notes of black cherry, wild strawberry, dried herbs and a hint of refined tobacco. The palate is pure and concentrated with layers of raspberry and black cherry fruit followed by savoury, liquorice and black pepper characters and an elegant mineral note on the finish. The tannins are fine and enveloping, balanced by an easing, refreshing acidity.

The great oenologist Giacomo Tachis, a legend today, arrived in Sardinia in the early 80s as a consultant to the Consortium of Sardinian Wines and an oenologist of the Cantina Di Santadi whose President Antonello Pilloni saw him as the right man for the revival of viticulture of Sulcis. And so it began….
Master Tachis began his work in Sardinia and his long collaboration with the Cantina di Santadi which continued until 2010 when he retired.
At the beginning of the century, after having launched so many successful wines, Tachis embarked on another creation, AGRIPUNICA. His immense experience in the oenological field managed to convince two other Italian viticulture friends and colleagues to join forces to create a company dedicated to the production of high quality wines with an international outlook here in Sardinia.
It's important to remember that taste is subjective, and personal preferences play a significant role.
