Tasting Notes

The Champagne Blanc de Noirs by Rousseaux-Batteux is crafted from 100% Pinot Noir grown in the highly respected Grand Cru villages of Verzenay, Verzy, and Louvois in the Montagne de Reims. Farmed sustainably without synthetic chemicals, these vineyards reflect a commitment to preserving soil health and expressing the purity of their terroirs. A blend of the 2021 and 2022 vintages, vinified mainly in oak barrels and aged 24 months on lees, this Extra Brut cuvée (under 3 g/L dosage) balances richness and precision. On the palate, it reveals notes of fresh red fruit, candied citrus, and subtle spice, carried by a firm mineral tension and a luminous, lingering finish. Production is limited to 7,881 bottles
