This wine comes from the oldest wine region in Bordeaux, just across the river from famous estates on the Left Bank. Overlooking the Gironde Estuary, this amphitheater of vines forms the La Rose Bellevue vineyard. It is located on the highest point of Saint Palais and its protected rows of vines are grown in mixed soils of fine gravel, sand, and silt. The wine is a very elegant blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon. The palate is lush with flavours of black currant and black cherry.

Château Lafleur, founded in 1872 by Henri GreloudIf is one of the spearheads of the Pomerol appellation, Today it is his descendants, Sylvie and Jacques GuinauDeau, who own it alongside their son Baptiste and his wife Julie, to whom they have handed over the reins.
The Château Lafleur has a vineyard of 4.5 hectares in a single block, and has the notable distinction of never having undergone the slightest plot modification since its creation. The soils are composed of sandy-clay gravel to the northwest and clay gravel to the south and east, as well as some gravelly sand in the heart of the vineyard. The grape varieties are 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Franc, the latter maturing well. Only 20,000 bottles are produced each year.
