The 2023 Bordeaux Blanc from Chateau de la Vieille Tour is a lovely example of a Bordeaux blanc. The typical blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon are showcased with plenty of green fruits balanced with white peach, pepper and mineral notes. The mouth is round and clean with a lot of freshness. A beautiful aromatic and crisp finish.

The Producer

Château de la Vieille Tour

In 1839 Pierre Boissonneau bought the Estate, located in the southernmost place of the Bordeaux appellation, on the Entre-Deux-Mers plateau. In 1150, Eleanor of Aquitaine, Queen of England, had the first plots of vines planted there by monks. During the 20th century, at the end of the 60s, Pierre Boissonneau, 4th of the name, undertook the extension and modernization of the family-owned Estate Vineyard & Winery.

Since 2007, the Estate has chosen to return to organic farming methods and is fully certified organic. Since 2021 the Estate is also certified Biodynamic under the management of the 6th generation, two brothers, Pascal and Nicolas.
