With the new Le Petit Grand range, Yvon Mau’s goal is to make the legendary wines of Bordeaux accessible to everyone. This collection captures the essence of the region’s great estates, in a format which is approachable and enjoyable even for wine-lovers who know nothing about Bordeaux.
Drawing on more than a century of family tradition and expertise, Yvon Mau (est. 1897) is proud to present a new vision of Bordeaux: wines that are fruity and accessible, showcasing the grape varieties which have become emblematic of our appellation. Just like the little rabbit on the label, that small creature with such great nobility, this wine captures the essence and the elegance of Bordeaux’s greatest wines.
A dense, brilliant ruby-purple robe. Expressive and fruity nose. Ripe, well-rounded fruit and a smooth, indulgent texture, with prominent blackberry and blackcurrant notes. Ready to be enjoyed now, served at 18°C as an aperitif, with roast beef or chicken or with a good soft cheese.
