Producer : Domaine Borgeot
Region : Burgundy (France), France (France)
Bottle Per Case : 6 x 750 ml
Food Pairing : Pasta with Cream Sauce, Rich Fish, Shellfish, White Meat
This is really stunning Burgundy for the price. A single vineyard Monopole Bourgogne Blanc is not very common and this punches well above it's weight. Lemon custard and bright acid with a touch of toast - beautifully balanced by the brothers Borgeot who make superb wines around Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne Montrachet. This wine ventures south to the Côte Chalonnaise but delivers the same quality Domaine Borgeot is known for.
