Tasting Notes

Maxime's winemaking style is heralded for the gentle treatment of the grapes, allowing terroir and finesse to shine through. He destems almost all of his red grapes, and allows for a natural extraction without excessive punch downs to achieve deliciously balanced tannins. After aging the wines are bottled without fining or filtration. A lovely, ripe-tasting wine from the village of Chambolle with abundant flavours of red and black berries alongside a touch of wood. Rounded and smooth on the palate, with sweet spice notes and a lingering fruity finish.
