"I just love the nose on the fantastic Armilla 2019 Brunello, with its classic Sangiovese aromas of forest floor, violet, leather and dark spice mixed with whiffs of cedar. The cedar note carries over to the polished, full-bodied palate along with cherry tart, raspberry compote, licorice and a hint of salinity. A backbone of firm, velvety tannins provides seamless support."

Armilla
Armilla is a family-owned winery in Tuscany and was established in 1980 by Silverio Marchetti. The winery is situated on a hill overlooking the picturesque town of Montalcino, surrounded by rolling hills and fertile soil.
The terroir is ideal for producing Sangiovese, the primary grape variety used in their signature wines. The climate is dry and well ventilated thanks to winds from the sea allowing the grapes to ripen perfectly.
Armilla is run exclusively by the descendents of Silverio according to Tuscan tradition.
