The sensory quality immediately gives the preciseness of raspberries blended with blackcurrants, pomegranate, unripe cherries and wild strawberries. In the background the energy of lemon flowers meets lime skin which together animate the second scene. Full bodied, balanced and silky on the palate showing enveloping fine grained tannins and a finale with good progression. Elegance has never been so modern.”

The Producer

Tenuta Fanti

The Fanti family has owned the Tenuta Fanti estate since the early 1700s. It spans 300 hectares in Tuscany, with 52 hectares dedicated to certified sustainable vineyards, 110 hectares to olive orchards boasting 8,500 olive trees, 80 hectares for seed plots, and 70 hectares of forests. Filippo Fanti took over the company's leadership in the early 1970s, steering it towards a focus on high quality, beginning with the revitalization of the soil. He carefully replanted the vineyards and olive trees using sustainable methods, selecting the best plots on the estate. Construction of a modern, spacious gravity flow cellar for winemaking, ageing, and refining began in 2004. Tenuta Fanti is committed to producing sustainably made, top-notch wines that reflect the terroir of Castelnuovo dell'Abate. With Filippo's four decades of winemaking experience and the drive of his daughter Elisa, who joined the family business in 2007, the FANTI brand continues to grow in importance, solidifying its position both domestically and internationally.
