Tasting Notes

"A knockout wine, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Brothers dazzles from the very first taste. Racy, powerful and voluptuous in the glass, with tons of textural resonance, the Brothers captures all the best qualities of the 2015 vintage. Time in the glass brings out the wine's inner perfume, with hints of espresso, chocolate, grilled herbs and red cherry jam that add nuance to the sepia-toned flavors. The tannins need time to settle down, but the 2015 is impressive, even in the very early going."

The Producer

Snowden

Snowden Vineyards is committed to crafting wines that embody the classic style and unique essence of their land. The Snowden family settled on the property back in 1955 when it was just a 160-acre homestead. Since then, they've remained steadfast in their mission to conserve and safeguard the natural surroundings of their ranch. Employing organic farming methods in the vineyards and minimal intervention in the cellar, they strive to let the terroir, vintage, and grape variety speak authentically through their wines. Leading this endeavour is winemaker Diana Snowden Seysses, a member of the family's third generation in winemaking. With her wealth of experience from both Burgundy's renowned Domaine Dujac and her family's heritage, she crafts elegant and harmonious wines that truly capture the nuances of their vineyard.
