The Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from vineyards which are selected for their intense fruit quality and firm tannins. The wine is aged in small oak barrels for 14 months, adding richness and complexity. Estrada Creek Cabernet Sauvignon is deep ruby in color with focused currant, blackberry and cracked pepper spice. The wine finishes with sweet smoke and a hint of vanilla.

The Colio Estate Winery is located near the sunny shores of Lake Erie, opened its doors in 1980, and is one of the first wineries in the Niagara region granted a licence since prohibition.
Allison Christ, winemaker at Colio Estate Wines, began fostering her skills in winemaking with an Honours BSc. in Chemistry/Mathematics from the University of Windsor, followed by harvest experience in both small and large winery settings, as well as a President’s position at the Windsor Essex Chapter of the Ontario Wine Society. Allison brings her passion to all facets of cellar and winery operations with a focus on harvest, fermentation, blending and bottling.
