House of cards is rich and flavorful. Red and dark fruits are apparent in the nose with plum, currant and blackberry tones. The aroma is layered and shows the power of Cabernet and of oak nuance. The pallet is long and refined showing fine grained tannin, with a high degree of deliciousness! The finish lingers and invites a second glass or two. A great value in Napa Cab.

House of Cards was founded in 2011 when the Wray family returned to Yallingup after their travels abroad. During their time overseas, Travis gained experience in winemaking through vintages in New Zealand and Canada. Since then, they have dedicated themselves to building a brand that mirrors their deep passion for crafting high-quality, single vineyard wines.
Located in Yallingup, House of Cards manages a 12-hectare vineyard, yielding approximately 50 tons of their own grapes each year. The Wrays firmly believe that the foundation for exceptional wine lies in starting with top-quality fruit. They employ organic sprays, cover crops, and mushroom compost across the vineyard to ensure the production of the finest grapes, all while maintaining a strong focus on environmental sustainability.
In their winemaking process, House of Cards adheres to traditional methods, including hand plunging and manual basket pressing. The resulting wines vary from year to year, influenced by the unique conditions of each vintage. Being single vineyard wines, they consistently convey a remarkable sense of terroir that evolves over time.
Elizabeth and Travis are passionate about their work, relishing the opportunity to reside in this idyllic paradise with their wonderful children while crafting a beloved product. Their goal is not to expand in size, but rather to continually improve and refine their wines with each passing year.
