Let me be clear. I do not say this lightly, or more importantly repeatedly, but to my palate there is no better deal on top shelf Napa Cabernet than this. It has enthralling exotic dark aromatics, striking intensity, and most importantly: a strong, fresh core which allows it to age. The palate is composed of cassis, black cherry, black raspberry liqueur, anise, cigar box, pipe tobacco, fresh evergreen, vanilla bean, finely ground baking spice, and whole clove. The palate is beautifully rich and layered with dense, dark berry fruit and hints of subtle herbs and spice that resonate on a long, mineral-laden finish. We have almost all of the worlds production of this wine, and with 80 cases available over two orders - I wouldn’t hesitate.

Juicy Rebound winemaker Douglas Danielak is unquestionably one of Napa’s most gifted minds, dubbed a 'rising star' by fellow peers and critics alike. He spent over a decade studying at Beaune’s winemaking school, and working with some true legends with names like Jacques Frederic Mugnier. Bringing his knowledge back to California, Douglas formed part of a tasting group of early believers in 1989 including Helen Turley, Mark Aubert, David Ramey and Ted Lemon.
While still largely unknown to the public, Douglas makes, and consults on some famous estates in California. But Juicy Rebound is more personal: It’s where Douglas is emotionally invested not only as a winemaker but as a proprietor. The product of elite vineyards in Oakville and Rutherford respectively, these are masterful, cult-luring Napa Cabernets for a very ‘un-cult’ Napa price.
It's important to remember that taste is subjective, and personal preferences play a significant role.
