"Dark red. Hints of lavender and aromatic herbs (typical of Frappato) complicate the plum and tar aromas more typical of Nero d’Avola. Then bright and pure in the mouth, showing floral flavors of dark berries and peppery spices. The long finish features juicy acidity and suave tannins. You can really tell that Frappato is present alongside Nero d’Avola in this blend, and the whole is more than the sum of its parts."
