"The Chablis “La Butte O” bottling made its debut in the 2020 vintage, and as the name implies, it hails from vines right next to the exceptional premier cru of Butteaux. The 2023 version from Domaine Piuze is lovely, offering up a fine, citric nose of pink grapefruit, tart orange, chalky soil tones, spring flowers, beeswax and orange peel. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, crisp and complex, with good mid-palate concentration, sound acids and lovely length and grip on the poised and nicely balanced finish. Good juice."
