La Chablisienne stands as a prominent wine cooperative nestled in Chablis, within the Yonne department of France, serving as the primary contributor to over 25% of the region's Chablis wine production. The inception of the first cooperative of producers in Chablis dates back to May 1, 1923, a period marked by economic challenges, notably the complexities in wine sales during the interwar era.
Since 1993, La Chablisienne has joined forces with Caves Bailly Lapierre (Yonne), Cave des Hautes Côtes (Côte-d'Or), Cave des Vignerons de Buxy (Côte Chalonnaise), and Vignerons des Terres Secrètes (Mâconnais) to establish the 'Blasons de Bourgogne.' This collaborative effort aims to achieve economies of scale. In 1999, La Chablisienne acquired Château Grenouilles.
