Tasting Notes
This Chardonnay was harvested from vines in Lodi, where the delta region provides a cooling balance to the region's warm climate. The crushed grapes are fermented in stainless steel to dryness, after which the wine is moved to French and American oak barrels for 8 months. Estrada Creek Chardonnay has a bouquet of green apple, pear and citrus blossom, complemented by vanilla tones from nicely integrated oak. The aromas carry through the palate, where crisp acids marry with the fruit.
