Tasting Notes
This wine offers aromas and flavours of apple, pear with nuances of citrus as well as vanilla notes due to ageing in oak. The texture is creamy with a nice balanced acidity. Pair with salmon, crab, chicken and shrimp with cream sauces and patés.

The Producer
Reif Estate Winery
One of the founding family wineries in Niagara-on-the-Lake, established in 1982 by The Reif Family and later overseen by Klaus W. Reif. Presently, Reif crafts wines from its 125-acre vineyard initially planted in 1977, located in the Niagara River sub-appellation where grape varieties that thrive in sunlight flourish. The extended growing season benefits from the river's influence, mitigating the risk of early spring and late fall frosts due to air currents.
Situated in Ontario's warmest sub-appellation, our vineyard is well-suited for producing rich, full-bodied wines. Additionally, our farm boasts some of the oldest vinifera plantings in Canada, offering an advantage to growers in cooler climates like Ontario, as mature vines ripen earlier.
