Tasting Notes
When young, it reveals aromas of ripe red fruit with intriguing minerality. After careful cellaring for three to five years, expect aromas of leather and cocoa to show themselves behind the red fruits, which will be present, however a little more in the background. The tannins become even more silky, and the wine finally reveals all it’s complexity.

The Producer
Château La Grolet
Château La Grolet is a 17th-century manor house at the bottom of a valley surrounded by its 50-hectare estate, including 38 hectares of vines, with the remainder being natural grassland, woodland, waterways and water sources. The Hubert family acquired the estate in 1997 and began a total conversion to biodynamics. The steep slopes of this gravel and clay terroir are planted with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec.
