The second wine of Château La Pointe, Ballade de La Pointe 2017 is a very elegant, rich and remarkably smooth wine. The nose opens with aromas of cherry, wild strawberry, and violet, accompanied by light touches of sweet spices and cocoa. On the palate, the attack is supple, the fruit expressive, and the texture velvety. The fine, melted tannins support a balanced and fluid structure. The finish, harmonious and delicate, leaves an impression of freshness and refinement typical of Pomerol wines. Excellent value for money in Pomerol!
