To taste such a luxuriant and powerful expression of small-batch Saint-Émilion is always a pleasure, but to enjoy one of this quality and lineage at such an affordable price point, is virtually unprecedented. Catherine’s masterful blending gives this wine such depth in its youth. I'm immediately inclined to describe this gem as old school and traditional, but its warmth and charm afforded by today's climate carry a level of finesse and complexity that is pure Grand Cru.
