"Castello della Paneretta's 2016 Chianti Classico is vibrant, perfumed and light on its feet, as wines from the property tend to be. Red flowers, mint, pine, licorice, kirsch and hard candy give the 2016 an intensely aromatic profile to play off its mid-weight structure and bright acids. Readers should expect an especially floral/savory style. I find the 2016 a bit eccentric, but also compellingly beautiful."
