Viticoltori Senesi Aretini

Founded in 1971 by about 30 producers located in Tuscany between the provinces of Siena and Arezzo the Cantina Viticoltori Senesi Aretini nowadays has 235 members, owning over 350 hectares of vineyards. Thanks to the collaboration with Maurizio Castelli (one of most famous Italian winemakers) and the continuing presence and cooperation with Mery Ferrara, the wine culture integrates innovation with tradition. Testimony of high quality of our wines are medals and ratings from all the world! The vines grown, then as now, were those typical of the area: the red grapes of Sangiovese and Canaiolo and the white grapes of Trebbiano and Malvasia. Since the 2007 vintage, the Council of directors, benefiting also from the grapes varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet, Chardonnay.
