Chianti is undoubtedly the most famous Italian wine in the world. The Gaslini Alberti have always contributed to the quality of this appellation by producing “l Sodi del Paretaio,” a typical expression of Chianti: fragrant and elegant, but of beautiful richness and intensity. A blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah, this wine is aged for 10 months in stainless steel and/or concrete. The nose is fresh with floral and fruity aromas. On the palate the wine is pleasurable and versatile with soft, ripe tannins. Beautifully balanced.

Badia di Morrona

Badia di Morrona is located in the centre of Colline Pisane and it is one of the four abbeys founded by Counts of Fucecchio. The abbey - with origins going back 1000 A.D. - was the seat of a convent of Benedictine monks, who always produced wine. The unique structure of the vineyards - basically clay rich in fossils and also including sandy and mineral soils - is reflected in the unique taste and style of their wines. Over the years, quality has been supported by technology innovation, preserving all traditional production methods, with a particular eye to the characteristics of the terroir. With this purpose in mind, a new Cellar has been built, to amplify the quality increase of the wines, through careful and rational vinification of different grapes produced by Badia di Morrona vineyards.
