"When a young Constantina (Nina) and Sarantos (Steve) emigrated from Greece to Australia in the 1960’s for a life in the ‘lucky country’, little did they realise a temporary job picking grapes would lead them to owning and creating Kingston Estate in the middle of the Riverland wine region. Sourcing grapes from the Clare Valley, they’ve created a wine that is jam-packed full of blackberry, plum jam and anise flavours. It’s intense with a wonderful richness and a lingering flavour. Match this with slow cooked pork shoulder."

Nina and Steve Moularadellis, who are the parents of Bill Moularadellis, the Managing Director of Kingston Estate, were Greek immigrants to Australia. They crossed paths while working in the vineyards of the Riverland in 1961. Acquiring a piece of land, they established a farming business, and by 1965, they harvested the inaugural grapes from their own vineyard.
In 1985, Bill initiated the winery adjacent to the family vineyard. The winemaking approach swiftly resonated with consumers, leading to the export of their wines worldwide. They achieved early sales success in the United Kingdom and Canada.
Over the years, they have evolved into one of Australia's major grape growers and prominent wine exporters. Their steadfast commitment revolves around cultivating enduring relationships with customers globally, earning acclaim for their commitment to quality, reliability, and continual enhancement.
Kingston Estate stands as one of Australia's largest grape growers, managing an extensive array of vineyards across diverse regions in South Australia and Victoria. These regions span from dry-grown cool climates to inland irrigated areas.
