"Blessed Uco Valley malbec right here of natural honesty, true blue Andean clarity and some of that sub-appellative Vista Flores great sapidity. From winemaker Carina Sager the slightly reductive dark fruit throws a smoulder of tobacco and more signals indicating salty-savoury-cedary-spiced fruit. Drink 2020-2026."

The Producer
Bodega de Arte
The family wine project was born in 2012 when Gustavo and Paula Cucchiara were touring the Uco Valley and in Vistaflores Tunuyán and fell in love with Finca San Francisco because of its slopes and view to the Andes. As an “Art Winery” they believe that winemaking is as much an art as painting. When testing each of the wines they are looking for similarities to the paintings of an Argentine artist, whether in effect, expression, tranquility, vitality, etc. choosing the artwork that will be suitable for each wine and suitable for the label.
Finca San Francisco has 26 hectares of vines in the Uco Valley. The terroir has sandy loam soil in the higher levels of the vineyard and stones in the lower parts so the vineyard is divided into parcels generating greater diversity which allowing a greater variety of wines from the same vineyard.
