"Made by the Maître de Chai of Château Ausone and from a handful of parcels, the 2022 Clos Des Baies checks in as 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc. It's a medium to full-bodied, round, concentrated, beautifully balanced Saint-Emilion that shows the riper, sexier style of the vintage. Black raspberries, chalky minerality, flowers, and spice all define the aromatics, and it shines for its balance, ripe tannins, and great finish."
