"Bright red-ruby. Deep, brooding, very pure scents of blackberry, cassis, minerals and nutty oak. Fine-grained and polished, conveying lovely inner-mouth lift to the glossy black fruit, violet and licorice flavors. A distinctly noble style of Clos Vougeot with the density to support its sweet tannins. Firm but not at all clenched, finishing with rising violet perfume."
