"Inching out the Viallière as my favorite of the Bonserine bottlings this year, the 2017 Cote Rotie la Sarrasine offers up delicate floral, herbal and spice aromas. It's medium to full-bodied, with black olive and blackberry flavors filling out the palate and providing a supple core for the potpourri notes. Deep espresso and vibrant berry flavors mingle on the long, silky finish."

Domain de Bonserine has scaled the ivory tower of “it” producers in record time. Most impressive of all, their limited wares are still available at welcome prices that deliver just as much, if not more pleasure and authenticity than top-dollar cult labels. Founded in 1972, the domain is now owned by Ets. Guigal one of the Northern Rhône's most prominent négociants who has preserved their qualitative philosophy. Today, their wines are found on the finest tables around the world. The Guigal family enjoy a shining reputation amongst wine lovers the world over. This reputation stems from their titanic efforts in developing the Côte Brune and the Côte Blonde. Here, the LA-LA-LA cuvées reign supreme and make many a wine lover weak in the knees.
