"The 2019 Réaut has a lovely bouquet, perhaps more refined and low-key compared to its barrel showing, but still offering dark cherries and violets, plus hints of licorice coming through. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, good backbone and plenty of freshness. A touch of sapidity gets the saliva flowing toward the finish. Maybe it will not need quite as long in the cellar as I predicted, but it still constitutes a very well-crafted, quite delicious wine."
92 Points - Neal Martin, Vinous, December 2021
"Strong ruby, violet tints, discreet ochre rim. Fine plum fruit, ripe forest berries, delicate nougat and tobacco. Juicy, ripe, sweet wild berries, pickled cherries, round tannins, good freshness, persists, chocolatey nuances on the finish, good ageing potential."
92 Points - Falstaff, June 2020

Overlooking the river Garonne and South-West oriented, the Reaut estate benefits from a high level of sunshine, just the right amount of wind and an optimal natural drainage linked to the altitude and the vineyard's slope. An ideal terroir for grapes and ripen the perfect place. Chateau Reaut endowed himself with a gravity system and some revolutionary inverted vats, producing dense, fruity and velvety wines from a plot vinification.
The ageing is made in oak barrels and in amphoraes. The new cellar was inaugurated in September 2018. The resolutely modern building is magnified by a gorgeous panoramic view of the vineyard and the river Garonne from a magnificent 200m terrace. The VAT's uniqueness makes Reaut a pioneer in the wine world.
