Bottle Per Case : 12 x 750 ml
Food Pairing : Cured Meat, Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Steak, Veal roasted
This Merlot-dominant blend is deep red with purple glints in the glass. Enticing aromas of cocoa and precious wood come through on the palate, joined by a touch of licorice. French oak barrel-aging complements the balanced structure of the wine.
Comprised of 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, this blend reflects the rich, intense flavors derived from low yielding vines in clay-limestone soil. Grapes were selected from a family-run vineyard in Côtes de Bourg, an appellation on the Right Bank of France’s renown Bordeaux winemaking region. Sometimes referred to as “Bordeaux’s Little Switzerland,” Côtes de Bourg has gently sloping hills, rich soils, and a cooler, Maritime-influenced climate in which red grapes thrive.
