Georges Noëllat is one of the great domaines in Vosne-Romanée. After a few decades that saw Noëllat’s land split up - forming the majority of Domaine Leroy - and its wines sold to Drouhin and Jadot, 20 year-old Maxime Cheurlin took over his family’s estate in 2010. A nephew of Jayer and cousin of Emmanuel Rouget’s sons, Maxime quickly established himself as one of the brightest talents in Burgundy. From old-vine plots around Gevrey-Chambertin, this bottling showcases Noëllat’s classic finesse and silky texture, along with depth rarely found in Red Burgundy at this price-point.
