Tasting Notes

Les Vireux is located in the south of the valley in the village of Auxey Duresses, about 300 meters above sea level, close to the village of Meursault. The slightly sandy limestone soil, combined with ample sunshine, gives the grapes ripe fruit flavor and refreshing acidity. The wine was aged in barrels for 19 months, 15% of which are new barrels. It exudes aromas of citrus, ripe stone fruits, and nuts, with charming and juicy acidity, plus a rounded taste and a penetrating finish!
