"A bright and cheery malbec made with finesse. The palate is cut and refreshed with a salty component, zesty acidity and mildly sinewy tannins. Sleek with notes of earth, new leather and blackberry. Impressively complex with a memorable finish. Drink now or hold until 2023."

The dream of four French partners in Argentina's Mendoza region is embodied in Marco Zunino, situated 200 kilometers from the district capital in the southern part of the region, specifically in the town of San Rafael. This locale serves as an oasis surrounded by expansive canyons and intersected by two vital rivers, Diamante and Atuel, crucial for both agriculture and tourism in the area.
The dry climate and rugged landscape, complemented by plane trees lining the country roads and weeping willows adorning the rivers, give the region a reminiscent feel of the Midi region in the south of France. The thirty-hectare vineyard is positioned in an exceptional site, benefiting from an idyllic regional climate ideal for wine production. The combination of low rainfall, high vineyard altitude (670m), and significant temperature variations contribute to the diversity and quality of San Rafael's terroir, creating the perfect environment for producing grapes of truly exceptional quality.
It's important to remember that taste is subjective, and personal preferences play a significant role.
