"Bold, intense and fruity bouquet centering on aromas of grapefruit and yellow peach, a creamy brazil nut butter scent and barrel spice complexity. Some lees layer in shape and breadth. Full-bodied with a creamy texture and contrasting acid line. Favours of nut and yellow fleshed fruit along with grapefruit and fruit spices, some baked custard and nuttty oak qualities deliver a wine of power and presence. Delicious, fresh, youthful and ready to drink from 2022 through 2026."

Tony Bish Wines was established in 2004 by Tony Bish and is located in the coastal city of Napier, in the Hawke's Bay region of New Zealand.

Tony Bish is a highly regarded winemaker with over 30 years of experience in the industry. He is known for his passion for chardonnay and his commitment to producing premium quality wines. His vision was to create a winery that would focus solely on producing world-class chardonnay, using only the best grapes from Hawke's Bay.

The winemaker, Tracy Haslam, joined the winery in 2018 and has been instrumental in creating some of the winery's most popular wines. She brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the winery, having previously worked for some of New Zealand's leading wineries.

The winery is located on the stony soils of the Gimblett Gravels wine region, which is renowned for its excellent drainage and unique terroir. The region is known for producing rich, full-bodied wines with intense flavors and aromas. The winery's vineyards are planted on north-facing slopes, which receive ample sunlight, ensuring optimal ripening of the grapes.

Tony Bish Wines has received numerous awards for its chardonnay wines, including the coveted Trophy for Best Chardonnay at the Hawke's Bay Wine Awards in 2019. The winery has also been named as one of the Top 100 Wineries in the world by Wine & Spirits magazine.

Tony Bish Winery is one of the few wineries in New Zealand that produces wine using concrete eggs. The unique shape of the eggs allows the wine to develop a greater complexity and depth of flavor, making for a truly unique wine.
