Tasting Notes
Considered by many to be the best Fiano producer, Colli di Lapio's 2017 Fiano di Avellino is pale straw-green. Wild, minty aromas of fresh apricot, green apple and botanical herbs, complicated by a hint of lemon verbena. Then honeyed and flinty flavors of minty apple and spicy stone fruit. A powerful and penetrating wine that finishes long and with rising complexity.

The Producer
Colli di Lapio
Colli di Lapio was born from a passion for viticulture that has been handed down for generations in the Romano family.
Founded in 1994, the company is located in Arianello, a small area in the municipality of Lapio, an Irpino town located about 550 meters above sea level, with a dry and windy climate.
Lapio is the largest production center of Fiano di Avellino DOCG, and also one of the few municipalities to boast the double denomination of Fiano DOCG and Taurasi DOCG.
