Tasting Notes

Superb, cellar-worthy Fiano from vineyards in the village of Lapio (considered the Grand Cru for this varietal). Straw yellow in the glass with an elegant nose that is delightfully fruity featuring white peach, nuts and white flowers. In the mouth its flavor is rich, soft and fresh with a long and persistent finish.

"...If it were Burgundy, it would be Chablis Grand Cru!"

The Producer

Colli di Lapio

Colli di Lapio was born from a passion for viticulture that has been handed down for generations in the Romano family.

Founded in 1994, the company is located in Arianello, a small area in the municipality of Lapio, an Irpino town located about 550 meters above sea level, with a dry and windy climate.

Lapio is the largest production center of Fiano di Avellino DOCG, and also one of the few municipalities to boast the double denomination of Fiano DOCG and Taurasi DOCG.
