Château Haut-Blanville is a family-owned Languedoc wine estate that was founded in 1997 by Béatrice & Bernard Nivollet. Their 70 ha of vineyards extend across The Grés de Montpellier AOP, stretching from the Hérault middle valley to the Vidourle, and from the Mediterranean in the south to the Pic Saint-Loup in the north. Wines are produced naturally, without the use of any additions except a minimal amount of sulphur upon bottling.
This pinot noir comes from the limestone and basalt soils of Pézenas at 100-150m, on a cool, north-facing single vineyard. Soft plum, perfumed raspberry rule the silken palate, with a fine tug of tannins taking the medium slight red to a gentle finish. Friendly and easy pinot ready for enjoying now.

Château Haut-Blanville is a family-owned Languedoc wine estate founded in 1997 by Béatrice & Bernard Nivollet. The Nivollets wanted to create an estate based on the Burgundian wine model developed centuries ago, focussing on the land. Located close to Montpellier, they have been creating and crafting wines which reveal the exceptional diversity of the Languedoc. Over the past twenty years, the family have rigorously selected individual plots of land, the grapes from which are vinified separately, parcel by parcel. Their ‘vine to bottle’ philosophy has served them well over the past twenty years, proving that it’s possible to produce quality, single-parcel wines over a period when most wineries were only interested in volume and bulk wine.
Their 70 ha of vineyards extend across The Grés de Montpellier AOP, stretching from the Hérault middle valley to the Vidourle, and from the Mediterranean in the south to the Pic Saint-Loup in the north. All wines are produced without the use of animal by-products, and are conversing to being certified vegan. Wines are produced naturally, without the use of any additions except a minimal amount of sulphur upon bottling.
