Henderson Brewing Co. has unpacked hops and yeast in a way that delivers a double-whammy of fruity and spicy character to this classic style. This beer is a hazy, light coloured, fruity, spicy version of an American IPA.
Tasting notes:
- Aroma: Orange juice, citrus pith, clove, bread dough.
- Appearance: Straw to light gold. Hazy with white head.
- Taste: Moderate bitterness up front followed by fruity notes and peppery/clove spice. Dry and refreshing.
- Mouthfeel: Medium high body and moderate carbonation contribute to pillowy, almost creamy mouthfeel.
- Overall Impression: A hazy, light-colored fruity spicy version of an American IPA. Think of Hoegaarden crossed with UPA.
- Malts: Pale, torrified wheat, oats
- Yeast: Escarpment Labs Belgian Wit Ale
